Photographer and journalist

When growing up in Delaware, my parents bought me my first camera and since then photography has been a part of my life.

After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology, I fell under the tutelage of many talented photojournalists who helped me develop my photographic eye and skills.

I began my newspaper career in South Jersey where I was introduced to the people and the unique culture that embodies the region. I have been telling their stories ever since — most recently as a photojournalist and writer for NJ.com — with a curiosity that brings me closer to them which allows the reader to do the same.

I call the Jersey Shore my home and enjoy the beach life while still searching for those interesting stories and powerful images.

What I have learned over my career I now pay  forward as a photojournalism adjunct at Rowan University where I teach students to find their passion and use the camera to tell stories.

I am a multi-award winner in the New Jersey Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest and the New York Press Photographers Association’s Photography & Multimedia contest.

My work has appeared in NJ.com, South Jersey Magazine, and Shore Local Magazine

Clients include Rowan University, both the Gloucester and Cumberland County campuses of Rowan College South Jersey and Tri -State Basset Hound Rescue.
