Hello

Since the beginning of the year I have been traveling to Central/North Jersey, mostly for personal reasons, and have had the opportunity to visit towns and attractions that are new to me. So I decided to share my vision - mostly through photos - in this blog that I named Where the Hawk flies. This is meant to be fun and also gives me a chance to write again as I travel the area for both business and pleasure.

First up…

Every church has its unique beauty but the feeling that comes over me when I walk in is always the same – spiritual, peaceful, and protected. This is St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville. We walked the bridge from New Hope, PA and stumbled upon this house of worship. While sitting in the front pew we took a few minutes to remember our loved ones and the ones we lost. In my former life I wanted to write a story on churches in New Jersey, exploring its purpose to the community it serves.
